
Lauren Gorey
Vice President of Communications
Lauren Gorey serves as the Vice President of Communications at the Applied Research Institute. With over 15 years of diverse experience across government and the private sector, Lauren is a seasoned and dynamic senior communications professional. She joins ARI from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence where she was also a member of the Intelligence Community. Lauren also serves in the Air Force reserve assigned to the Office of the Secretary of the Air Force where she supports global Air Force and Space Force public affairs.
Her track record showcases a proven ability to craft and execute effective strategic communication and outreach plans for prominent federal agencies, navigating complex, fast-paced, and impactful environments.
Lauren’s experience includes pivotal roles within the White House National Security Council, Department of Justice, the Office of Personnel Management, and the Department of Commerce, for a member of Congress, as well as supporting private-sector clients, including Harvard and Fortune 100 companies. Notably, Lauren led more than 425 communications personnel distributed among all 13 bureaus of the Department of Commerce.
