Job Description:

ARI is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Marketing who will be instrumental in building out our enterprise team from inception to full operations. As a key leader within our organization, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to attract and manage a high-performing team focused on driving marketing initiatives tailored to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategic planning and execution of all marketing efforts.
  • Identify key market trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights to inform marketing strategies and initiatives.
  • Mentor a talented team of professionals specialized in marketing.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the marketing team, which fosters a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
  • Demonstrate great communication and organization skills.
  • Develop and manage marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including executives, customers, and partners.
  • Deploy a detailed project progress, that address all aspects of project management to include the identification of risks and issues and the implementation of mitigation strategies as needed.
  • Drive continuous improvements of marketing processes and workflows to maximize efficiency and objectives.
  • Ability to work independently, in an unstructured environment, with multiple concurrent demands on your time.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of marketing efforts with business objectives.

Marketing Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead the overall marketing strategy in partnership with the Executive Leadership Team.
  • Manage and oversee the development of marketing and promotional collateral such as brochures, presentations, and promotional materials.
  • Develop and deploy and enterprise level marketing strategy and then oversee and manage the tactical execution of the broader team in the following sections:

Brand Management:

  • Develop brand strategies and plans to achieve business objectives.
  • Create, maintain, and execute and ARI branding guideline to ensure cohesiveness. This could include but not limited to logos, messaging, and visual assets.
  • Manage and oversee the brand communication across various channels, including social media, advertising, and public relations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure brand consistency.
  • Ensure compliance with brand guidelines and legal requirements.

Communication:

  • Develop and implement integrated communication strategies to effectively convey the ARI message to the targeted audience.
  • Work with the team to craft compelling brand stories and narratives that resonates with the audience and differentiate ourselves from others.
  • Create and maintain content across various platforms, including social media, websites, blogs, emails, newsletters, and campaigns.
  • Ensure consistency in brand messaging and tone across communication channels.
  • Monitor and analyze audience engagement and feedback.
  • Respond to customer inquires in a professional and timely manner.
  • Measure and report on the effectiveness of ARI’s brand communication efforts.

Content Creation:

  • Develop creative concepts and ideas for marketing campaigns, promotions, and initiatives.
  • Create engaging and compelling content across various formats including articles, blog posts, social media, videos, infographics, and emails.
  • Write clear and concise copy that effectively communicates the ARI brand’s value proposition.
  • Produce high-quality visual assets, such as graphics, images, and videos, to accompany written content which enhances its impact.
  • Optimize content for search engines (SEO) to improve visibility and drive organic traffic to online channels.

Public Relations:

  • Develop and implement public relations strategies to enhance the brand’s reputation and visibility.
  • Build and maintain relationships with journalists and media outlets to secure press coverage.
  • Write and distribute press releases and other press materials to announce company news, events, etc.
  • Identify speaking opportunities, awards, and industry events to showcase the expertise and thought leadership of key company representatives.
  • Develop speaking points and topics for ARI staff, when needed.

Required Qualifications to Apply:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in marketing management, with a minimum of 10 years’ experience.
  • Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate across teams.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing marketing strategies.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for innovations and problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in marketing tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms.
  • United States Citizenship
  • Ability to obtain a DoD Secret-level security clearance or other government agency equivalent.

Salary: $140,000/year or higher depending on experience and qualifications

Work Location: Hybrid, but based in or around Bloomington, IN: Odon, IN: Indianapolis, IN
